Paper 2 prompts

1. Setting can often reflect the underlying ideas in a play.  In the light of this statement consider the importance and use of setting in two or three plays you have studied.

2. Compare the presentation and functions of the openings in two or three plays you have studied.

3. Looking at the stage directions in this play, analyze how effective they are on the over-all effect of the play.  Think of character, blocking, satire, theme, tone, etc.
